MEET YOUR INSTRUCTORS
Usha Rose Avallone has been passionately teaching yoga for over 12 years. Usha has been a licensed and practicing massage and craniosacral therapist since 2005. She has done extensive private studies and trainings in pre and post-natal massage and infant craniosacral therapy (CST). Most recently she studied CST for Infants with Carol Gray in Portland, OR and trained in Prenatal Yoga with Jane Austin in San Francisco, CA in 2012. Usha loves incorporating her love of bodywork and yoga to serve her community of mamas, babies and families.
Grace Kendrick is passionate about yoga and parenting. As a mom and stepmom, she created this class to provide a nurturing respite for moms to connect and inspire each other on the crooked path of motherhood. Grace has been teaching this class for over 10 years and partnered with UC Stanislaus and Blossom Birth on a research pilot that studied the effects of this class format including mindfulness and yoga on pre- and post-natal anxiety and depression. The results were astounding and many of the participants are still in contact today. More information at www.mindfulmamayoga.com.
