Hello, I am a local craniosacral practicioner. I am new to The Nest and so happy to be connecting with everyone here! I have lived locally since 1973 and started in bodywork in 1997 just before the birth of my first child. I am passionate about holistic healing for the family. I am a believer in starting with the least invasive approach and working up from there; this approach led me into Craniosacral Therapy inspired by my daughter’s particular need for surgical orthodontic techniques which we were able to avoid.

Some of you may have heard of Craniosacral Therapy (CST) or you may be new to this modality and curious as to whether it applies to you and your families health journey.

A brief introduction… Craniosacral Therapy is a light-touch approach that can create dramatic improvements in your life.  It releases tensions deep in the body to relieve pain and dysfunction and improve whole body health and performance. People often ask if CST only involves the skull, the term Craniosacral broken down is Cranio = skull and sacral = sacrum so essentially it is the head, full spinal column and tailbone, this directly affects all the attaching bones, tissue and fluid within the body so it does cover more than simply head or spine injuries and dysfunctions.

CST is great for PTSD and stress disorders as it affects and soothes the nervous system. Concussions, head trauma and sinus pressure is relieved by assisting in improved fluid flow which reduces inflammation.

CST can help many disorders; I work with many different issues from people who are maintaining a healthy lifestyle to learning disorders, jaw tension, structural injuries, headaches, inflammatory issues, chronic illnesses and more.

I am always available to talk by phone or email; I have more information on my website http://www.karriknowles.massagetherapy.com/home
As a way of introduction if you mention this article I am offering a 30 minute session for only $25 ($40 Value)

I look forward to the opportunity to working with you and your family
